We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • To Manage Client Relationships: To notify you about changes to our terms or privacy policy, or to follow up on open inquiries.

All quotes are reviewed and processed by our staff.

Note: We do not currently process financial transactions directly through this website. Any payment information required for finalized orders will be handled offline or through secure, separate invoicing channels compliant with PCI-DSS standards.

We comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We will only send you commercial electronic messages (CEMs) if:

As a result, your personal data is stored and processed on servers located outside of Quebec, primarily in the United States and other international jurisdictions utilized by these providers. By using our Services, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions.

Data Protection Agreements: In accordance with Quebec Law 25, we ensure that our third-party providers have signed Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) or adhere to recognized international security frameworks. These measures ensure that any personal information communicated outside Quebec receives a level of protection equivalent to generally accepted data privacy principles.

7. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

8. Data Security & Breach Notification

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. Access to your personal data is limited to those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a business need to know.

Breach Notification Protocol: In the event of a confidentiality incident involving personal information that presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI) and any affected individuals as required by Law 25, without undue delay.

11. Governance Policies (Retention & Destruction)

We maintain internal governance policies to manage your data responsibly:

  • Retention Period: We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected (e.g., fulfilling quotes, legal tax obligations).

    • Inactive Quotes: Generally retained for 2 years.

    • Transaction Records: Retained for 6-7 years as required by tax laws.
